Kolkata closures commenced commercial production about six years ago with a team of experts having vast experience in the field of metal closure. In this short span the Company has become one of the fastest metal packaging company in India.

The company is located in Calcutta (now known as Kolkata) the Capital of the State of West Bengal which is a part of Eastern India. Calcutta was once the Capital of India during the British reign and West Bengal is renowned for its Industrial Excellence..

The State shares its borders with Bhutan and Bangladesh and that is why Calcutta has become the gateway to South East Asia and China. The City has an international Airport with flights connecting to several parts of the World. Cargoes can be sent by sea through the ports of Calcutta and Haldia. Calcutta is also widely covered with all parts of the Country by railway network and national highways.

Kolkata closures Private Ltd.(KCPL) is engaged in the manufacture of ROPP Caps of different sizes. shapes and designs fabricated from aluminium sheets. Aluminium is produced from Hindalco, the largest manufacturer of Aluminium in India,from their local units. Printing materials are supplied by DIC.coatings. All materials used for the manufacture of closures are covered by FDA Certificates. .

The products range vary from sizes 0f 22/15mm to 30/60mm, both plain and embossed with chamfering meant for liquor, wines pharmaceutical and other food products. The Company manufactures caps with moulded PVC Liner and Tear off seals.

KCPL is now producing 40 million caps per month and is expected to increase production to 50 million in the near future. Export markets include Malaysia,Iran,Sri Lanka, Mauritius and Brazil. the Company hopes to extend the market to Russia
